Equine Behaviour Workshops, come and join us!

We've started running a series of workshops looking at equine behaviour. The first one started with 'How horses learn' and we looked at some of the principles of the science behind behaviour and the consequences that follow.

Like humans, horses are mammals and they learn through experiences, so for example when you do your homework and the teacher praises you the chances are you do your homework on time again in the future! Horses are similar, if they do something the trainer wants to see and are rewarded (preferably with food) they are more likely to repeat the behaviour.

The slides from our last workshop are available here.
